Timothy A. Straus was born in Brooklyn New York in 1960 but was raised in the Orlando area. Tim attended parochial schools (Catholic) and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1980 with a B.A. with Honors. In 1982, he graduated from Florida State University, College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor with highest honors. In 1984, he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida.

Tim has extensive experience in juvenile dependency case and actions seeking the termination of parental rights both at the trial and appellate levels. Tim has represented numerous clients in criminal proceedings, adoptions and probate. Tim assists clients in Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Probate Estate Administrations.

Prabodh Patel

Mr. Patel was born in Kenya in 1936. He studied law at Lincoln's Inn School of Law in London, England. He became a barrister in 1961. Mr. Patel practiced law in Kenya, London and Canada before moving to central Florida in 1984.

Due to his multi-cultural and multi-linguistic background, Mr. Patel speaks English, Hindi, Urdu and Swahili. While Mr. Patel's practice has a strong immigration component, he also represents a variety of individuals and commercial clients in complex bankruptcy proceedings, Federal litigation, and commercial real estate transactions.

He is the current Florida Chapter president of the National Asian and Pacific Bar Association.
